How do I add team members to a shared number?

Here’s how to add your team members to a shared number in OpenPhone so you can get started sharing customer calls and texts.

  1. Click Invite your team at the bottom of the Team section in your OpenPhone inbox or Invite a team member from the Members section.
  2. Enter the work emails of your colleagues you want to add to the shared number and select Add to list.
  3. Choose an initial phone number assignment or give the invited team member the option to select a new number.
  4. Select their workspace role: Owner, Admin, or Member
  5. Click Assign a New Number or Share Existing to give the team member access to an existing phone number in your account.
What type of phone number can I forward externally to?
