Call transcriptions are a new OpenPhone feature, powered by artificial intelligence.
With AI-generated English language call transcription software, teams have a note-taking assistant on every call. You can search for specific keywords so that you can reference topics of interest that were discussed, which is especially helpful for research, business meetings, interviews, and other similar use cases
Note that this functionality is for voice calls only, not for video calls.
By default, OpenPhone will provide you with an automatic transcription of any recorded calls that occur. Keep in mind call transcripts and summaries are only available to Business plan users.
Once you enable call recording for a specific conversation or all calls associated with a phone number in your workspace, OpenPhone automatically generates a call transcription based on the recording.
To disable this setting, you must be an owner or admin user in your OpenPhone workspace:
